Summary

The Digital Marketing/Social Media Analyst will be responsible for delivering weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly performance reports, leading web analytics tagging, forming hypotheses, defining success metrics and measuring outcomes, and contributing to building an analytics strategy for digital goals and objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to multi-task and capable of handling tight deadlines and high volume output.
  • Excellent communication skills with both internal and external customers.
  • Setup, oversee, and report on affiliate marketing campaigns
  • Acquire new partners and test strategies to increase performance from current affiliate partners while managing to the channel budget and KPIs
  • Creative management for relevant digital ads to include concepting creative, writing creative briefs, proofing creative, and writing and testing ad copies.
  • Setup, test, launch and report on pop-up marketing programs to include welcome and exit offer programs
  • Assist with executing customer surveys, weekly reporting, email marketing, SEO and paid ads programs as needed.
  • Analyzing and reporting on the performance of digital marketing campaigns
  • Gather and clean data from ad servers, media partners, and other platforms
  • Developing benchmarks to set goals for campaign performance
  • Generate clear performance dashboards
  • Supporting team for ad hoc analysis and report assignments
  • Generate reports and insights on marketing campaign performance
  • Optimize website and owned properties for SEO and usability
  • Develop content strategy, understand each content’s role, and update key pieces of content for improved performance
  • Outreach and network with publishers and influencers
  • Track, measure, analyze trends and customer preferences
  • Forecast and prepare reports measuring effectiveness of programs/campaigns
  • Compile a comprehensive narrative of how users behave while interacting with initiatives; provide strategic insights and recommendations
  • Understands business requirements and how to map those requirements to specific measurement tactics.
  • Designs and build reports using multiple tools (e.g., Web analytics tools, Excel, PowerPoint, Social Media analytics tools)
  • Extrapolate trends and patterns from data analysis and suggests opportunities
  • Familiarity with tracking and web analytics tools (Google Analytics) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup)

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of the digital media space and the KPIs and methods used to measure digital advertising
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks, multitask and manage time effectively
  • Problem solving skills – Ability to identify gaps and provide solutions
  • Critical thinking skills – Capable of generating consistent and accurate reporting results tying back to campaign objectives
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Domo, and/or Datorama a plus
  • Tech-savvy a plus. Role includes a decent amount of trouble-shooting ad operations setup and testing.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills – attention to detail is a must
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, able to present to executives.
  • Must be willing to travel, must have a flexible schedule, relocation offered to right candidate.

Required Education and Experience

  • 2 + years digital marketing experience, affiliate experience a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of digital marketing channels, including paid and organic search, social media, email, programmatic, and in-feed native
  • Proficiency with industry-standard digital marketing tools including Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, MailChimp, Moz, WordPress, Spyfu, and more. Keeps up-to-date with the newest analytics and marketing trends.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat is a plus.
  • 2+ years of working experience in a corporate environment.
  • Experience in Real Estate or Mortgage is a significant plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Language Skills

  • Ability to speak, read and write in the English language
  • Fluency in Spanish a plus
