This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in the three areas managed by our Creative Services department: content creation, online reputation (reviews), and paid social. There is potential to grow into more advanced roles within any one of these pillars.

The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker, a creative yet concise writer (more than 60 percent of duties involve writing), and a true team player.

Core Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Set up new clients on requested social media networks for brand consistency
  • Craft engaging social media posts through competitive research and in accordance with our in-house style guide using SOCi’s proprietary platform
  • Edit blog posts for SEO optimization and upload to respective pages
  • Assist the Customer Success team in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports

Online Reputation

  • Facilitate, monitor, and strategically respond to online reviews across various platforms (Yelp, Google My Business, Facebook, Apartment Ratings, etc.) using SOCi’s proprietary platform
  • Collaborate with clients about Reputation Management questions and concerns
  • Work with Reputation Manager to analyze, streamline, and improve processes

Paid Social

  • Create, optimize, and test Facebook ad campaigns
  • Capture and analyze metrics to inform future processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or Related Field
  • Excellent writing, editing, and research skills
  • Must be able to work in our San Diego office
  • Bonus points: design background, experience writing with a style guide, knowledge of G Suite/Excel, experience in startup and/or social media marketing, knowledge of property management
