Job Overview:

The Fausnaught Group is looking for an experienced, innovative individual to join our team as a Videographer/Video Editor/Social Media Strategist. This person will work closely with the Director of Sales, specifically regarding content creation, branding, and overall social media strategy and execution. Think Gary Vee for real estate. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills. We look for drive above all else. It may seem taboo to state in a job posting, but if you are looking for a 9-5 job this is not it. Those that go above and beyond will be rewarded and naturally excel within the team. We are a group of “A players” who want to surround ourselves with other “A players.” The ideal candidate for this position would have sales or real estate background. You will be working with an Executive of the business on a daily basis to help grow his sales team and build his personal brand via podcast and all social media channels. This role will have marketing components and be pivotal in driving additional sales for the team.

Responsibilities:

-Managing the Director’s various social media platforms (with primary emphasis on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube

-Establish posting schedules

-Help build and manage a podcast – to include videography and video production

-Schedule podcast interviews and organize each shoot

-Create and distribute long form content over various short form social media platforms

-Design and promote non-video content – Photoshop skills/Canva skills a plus

-Manage email marketing campaigns

-Design and launch marketing pieces for loan products and other promotions

-Manage and coordinate the building of a personally branded website to house related content

-Obtain references from existing clients

-Client engagement on social media – growing followers/interaction over all platforms

-Communication with borrowers, vendors, capital conduits, etc.

-Schedule and attend prospective client meetings and general events

-Help build and grow a Real Estate Meet Up for the Fausnaught Group

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or progress towards such a degree/comparative work experience)
-Minimum 1 year of experience in real estate, or business

-Track record with videography and video editing

-Big plus if you have your own videography/video editing equipment/software (will pay to upgrade it as needed)
-Strong communication skills
-Very well organized with attention to detail
-Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills
-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, Photoshop, Canva, and any relevant video editing software
-Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics is a big plus
-Capability to write creatively
-Ability to work independently and initiate follow through – need a self-starter!
-Ability to work in a team-based, fast paced environment
-Not afraid to work long hours if need be (end of the month is hectic for closings)
