Lead various business units within marketing including product marketing, creative and marketing services, partnerships, social media, content marketing, and video/digital/photography production. Manage a large team to champion the Norwegian Cruise Line brand and develop breakthrough content and creative with the ultimate goal of driving demand and filling ships at the desired ticket price.

Lead in-house marketing agency and account supervisors in creative strategy, development, and execution of various projects and campaigns across all marketing channels.

Contribute high level ideas and messaging that position and differentiate the Norwegian Cruise Line brand. Champion brand positioning at every point of contact, upholding integrity of creative standards.

Ensure all teams are operating with the highest of quality and projects are completed on time and on budget.

Lead overall social media and content marketing strategy for the NCLH and the Norwegian Cruise Line brand.

Continue to evolve overall strategy, resourcing, tools, ideas and solutions in ever changing landscape. Ensure Norwegian remains at the forefront of social media with compelling and breakthrough content and creative campaigns.

Develop robust content campaigns rooted in strategic and creative insights that support business initiatives or business challenges.

Develop methods, tools and scorecards for systematically measuring the impact and contribution of partnerships and programs and to assess partnership opportunities.

Provide assessment and POVs for potential new partnerships and marketing programs that drive incremental demand, source new revenue and support business strategies

Lead product marketing team to provide all areas of marketing with most up-to-date and relevant product and destination information and materials such that other business units can establish and deliver effective business strategies.

Develop strong working relationships across the organization: hotel ops, revenue management, public relations, onboard revenue, new build, etc. to receive timely and accurate information to be communicated to and incorporated into marketing.

Provide input and recommendations on future new builds in areas of future guest makeup and both on board dining and on board activities.

Lead marketing strategy, messaging, and execution of marketing materials for Norwegian’s key destinations, new builds and other product marketing initiatives (i.e. family, Haven, Sky All Inclusive, etc.) in order to increase guest satisfaction and generate desire and demand.

Lead production team in all aspects of photo, video and digital planning and execution.

Enable collaboration with the content marketing and product marketing teams to develop break-through assets that can be utilized across all channels to support broad initiatives.

Develop strategic vision for content creation that positions Norwegian uniquely amongst peer set and also amongst all vacation options.

Perform other job related functions as assigned.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field of study, MBA preferred; or any equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education.

EXPERIENCE: 10 years experience in Marketing strategy, planning, development and creation. 5-10 years of management experience.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Strong leadership and talent development skills to cultivate performance and manage team effectively, particularly for social media and creative professionals. Data-driven, solution and results oriented. Quantitative, analytical, and strategic thinking skills to leverage data and insights to structure and optimize departmental goals, objectives, programs, and performance. Develop business cases and support short- and long-term investment decisions at the Senior Executive (C) level. Strong business development, budgeting, planning and marketing skills. Proven success in leading new product launches from concept development and positioning through commercialization. Solid domain knowledge of consumer and B2B/ trade marketing across multiple channels and disciplines, including Social Media, E-Commerce, direct and digital marketing, advertising, Content, events, etc. Excellent negotiation and account management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills to deliver presentations, express recommendations, solutions and work with internal and external contacts. Interpersonal skills to work successfully in a team-based environment. Ability to manage team deliverables in close alignment with overall marketing objectives.
