Job Description

The Manager, Audience Data Operations plays a key role in the Audience Monetization team. This person will manage 3rd party data provider requests and our segment creation work flow in order to drive audience targeted advertising revenue. The successful candidate will be responsible for quarterly reporting, workflows, and communication around segment availability.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Scope custom 3rd party targeting options for top tier clients to ensure feasibility, quality and scale.
  • Manage 3rd party data flows and partner communication with external DMP and all 3rd party data providers to ensure proper distribution and refresh of data.
  • Work across teams to identify and communicate segment audience sizes and inventory availability.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and go to market teams to ensure internal systems are functioning to support data flows and troubleshoot where necessary.
  • Perform business analysis to inform and/or develop cost optimizations balancing scale, data quality and attribute costs to maximize yield and grow targeting revenue.
  • Develop, drive and present Audience Data Operations quarterly business reviews.
  • Develop specification documents, process flow diagrams, use cases, test plans and training documentations that will assist in training an intern and exploring outsourcing of some standard segmentation build requests.
  • Partner with Audience Virtual Team Client Services Leadership to identify additional areas when they can assist with reinforcing questions and concepts that Sales and CS have already been trained on.
  • Identify and implement workflow improvements across the segment creation, implementation, and reporting processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA or BS degree
  • 4+ years’ experience in a program management, technical project management, business analyst or sales operations role at a digital or mobile media company
  • Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Excellent problem solving ability
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to plan/pace projects
  • Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills
  • Experience with industry standard web and mobile advertising operations vendors and concepts
  • Experience with programmatic buying and selling systems
  • Ideal candidate is proactive and willing to work with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable in fast-paced and changing environment
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong familiarity with 1st, 2nd, 3rd Party data in a mobile first environment
  • Effective in building strong cross-functional partnerships and navigating multiple functions at once – across internal and external teams
  • Ability to influence conversations and outcomes as needed to drive to the best possible result for the project
  • The right individual will demonstrate strong analytical problem solving abilities, ability to clearly communicate complex topics, and thrive in a fast paced environment. Strong understanding of audience targeting technologies in an in-app environment strongly preferred.
